Collage Art : Doll

Working with scraps of paper, paint, and stickers I put together this doll. The purple background contains various shades of purple and is mounted on a black and white paper background to show contrast. The doll itself was first drawn then painted and eventually clothes were fashioned out of paper scraps. Adding paint to accent the dress and putting stickers on added a nice finish for the doll and took up extra, unneeded space.

This project could be used for fifth graders and altered to allow boys to have more options. Make sure the have materials appropriate for boys and girls, giving them a wide variety of colors.
