Quilt Square

The perfect group project! Students can think of an appropriate theme as a class then work individually to make their own quilt square. When everyone is finished the whole class will have a one combined quilt. Encourage students to think about what their family culture is and how they can best represent it, literally or figuratively.

To the right you can see my (unfinished) quilt square. The theme for the quilt was culture so I chose to incorporate my families love for horses and kind hearts.
