Conflict

This piece is obviously not meant for children but it can be altered to show children how conflict can be depicted in art. It is important for children to know how to express themselves and using art allows them to show how they feel without having to say anything.

The painting was done by first drawing the couple then outlining them in black. By creating a black background it creates contrast and distinguishes a difference between the background and the people. The words written on the background are what separate them, what keep them from being one.
